Last touch ups

Now that the majority of the construction on the set itself was complete i could now focus on the animation side of things. but i needed a way to access the magnets below the set which would hold Rags in place. For this purpose i had the set raised on these six legs.

Plenty of space to move my hands under the set and to move the magnets also.

The last step was to make the set seem more messy and crude, after all it is a barn so it isn't supposed to be all neat and tidy. I did a layer of glue around the base of the set before going over it with various materials including grain, straw, pebbles and various other materials to help make it more messy.

Rags the Scarecrow approves of his barn.

Set layout

The set above is about 16 inches by 24 inches. The walls measure around 22 inches. The set is fairly large but means that there is plenty of space available for props.

Her is the set finally with its walls attached. The bolts in the walls will be hidden behind props such as hay stacks and corn sacks.

DA DA!! The finished layout of the set... Excluding the straw which I shall scatter to help give the crude and messy barn interior look.
